Polypane seems pretty awesome – I think it will also save me a lot of time

I only recently discovered the Polypane web browser. However from my very limited time with it I’m very impressed with the features it has to offer. So much so that by the end of the 14 day free trial I was ready to part with my money.

As a web browser that is specifically designed for web developers and designers it’s easy to see why it’s gaining popularity amongst the community. I’ve listed some of the stand out features below.

Multi-Pane View

Polypane allows you to view your website in multiple panes simultaneously, making it easier to test and develop responsive designs across multiple screen sizes.

Customizable Viewports

Polypane lets you create custom viewports and presets, which can save you time and make it easier to test your website across different devices and screen sizes.

Accessibility Tools

Polypane includes a range of accessibility tools that can help you test and improve the accessibility of your website, including contrast checkers, text zoom, and a simulated dyslexia mode.

Performance Metrics

Polypane provides detailed performance metrics for your website, including page load times, network requests, and resource sizes. This can help you identify performance issues and optimize your website for speed.

DevTools Integration

Polypane integrates with popular development tools like Chrome DevTools and Firefox Developer Tools, making it easier to debug and inspect your website.

Final Thoughts

Overall, Polypane can help you save time, improve your website’s accessibility and performance, and simplify your web development workflow. If you’re a web developer or designer looking for a more efficient and effective way to work, Polypane is definitely worth considering.
